Materials used for production
Pinewood: The cozy grill cabin is produced from renewable European pines, which are among the most commercially important tree species valued for their timber qualities throughout the world. Pinewood is light with regular texture, appreciated for their pleasant smell. Pines are denser, resinous, and therefore more durable than spruce. Pine wood is flexible to use, suitable for thermal and chemical modification, and therefore is widely used in the construction and furniture industries. For grill cabin only the best quality of pinewood is being used. The most modern log X-ray and automatic grading technology selects the best raw material.
The wood is being supplied from worldwide well known wood producer Storaenso. Supplied pinewood is accurately sawn, kilned and graded according to wood features. Also the wood, which has been used in our production, has been approved with FSC and PEFC certificates.
Bitumen Shingles: For Grill Cabin roofing Finish producer’s Icopal SBS modified and fiber glass 120 g/m² reinforced bitumen shingles are used. The SBS modification adds flexibility, application strength and durability to the membranes of the shingles. The top layer of the membranes is surfaced with mineral granules. The shade of the granules is obtained from the natural materials, therefore extremely long-lasting color of the shingles is guaranteed. The bottom layer of the shingles is coated with adhesive bitumen. On the sun heat, overlapping shingles stick to each other forming a hydro-insulating layer, which ensures excellent leak resistance of the roof.

These dividers can be easily removed for painting or can be left off altogether if preferred.

The door set consists of a door frame, a door leaf, hexagon window, adjustable hinges, a lock and a wooden handle. The door frames are of produced with the thickness of 65 mm.

The cabins require a firm and level foundation. A concrete or paved patio is fine or alternatively a well-constructed wooden deck is perfect if you want to locate your cabin on a grassy area. A good foundation ensures stability and durability of the grill cabin. Prepare the base of at least 15 cm height and make sure that there are sufficient air apertures under the cabin floor for ventilation. It is recommended, to have the foundation prepared by a specialist; your local dealer can advise regarding this.
Pine wood for its physical characteristics is an ideal raw material for the construction – it is strong and is easy to recycle. However, changing weather conditions may change its appearance. Large and small cracks, color tone changes as well as altering structure of the wood is a result of a natural cause. In order to ensure long service life of a cabin, it is necessary to protect it immediately with a suitable wood preserver. Professionally selected suitable coatings reduce the swelling and shrinkage of the wood. The cabin must be re-painted or re-stained according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions. We recommend inspecting the protection coating at least once a year and re-coat as necessary.
When using your BBQ for the first time, the surfaces of the new product that are in direct contact with the flames will create a smoky smell while warming-up; this is normal and is due to the paint curing. We advise to keep the door open during the first usage and not to cook until the smell has cleared out. To start the fireplace put a couple of fire lighters along with some charcoal on the fire grate. To make it easier and to ensure that the BBQ is getting enough replacement air, open the damper and it is also useful to keep the door or a window open during the lighting process. As the fire gets warmer, the draught will increase and then more charcoal or dry hard wood logs can be added.
